Raisin Oatmeal Cookies
Raisin Oatmeal Cookies
Bake at 375 for 15-18 minutes
Makes 2 dozen cookies
• 1 ½ cups flour
• ½ teaspoon soda
• 1 teaspoon salt
• ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
• 1 ½ cup quick oats
• 1 egg
• 1 cup brown sugar
• ½ cup oil
• ½ cup milk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 cup raisins
Sift flour with soda, salt, and cinnamon. Stir in Oats. Combine other ingredients, add to flour mixture and mix thoroughly. Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Chocolate Cream Cheese Cookies
Chocolate Cream Cheese Cookies
Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes
Makes 3-4 dozen
Cream
• ½ cup butter
• ½ cup shortening
• 1 package cream cheese
• 2 Square chocolates or 2/3 cup cocoa
• 2 ¼ cups flour
Add
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 1 ½ cups sugar
• 1 beaten egg
• 2 tablespoons milk
• ½ teaspoon vanilla
• 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
• ½ cups nuts (optional)
Drop with spoon onto greased cookie sheet, dust with sugar.

Soft Molasses Cookies
Soft Molasses Cookies
Bake at 350 for 12-14 minutes
Makes 5 dozen
Cream
• 1 cup molasses
• ½ cup crisco
• 1 egg
Sift
• 2 cups flour
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon soda
Add
• 1 teaspoon ginger
• ½ teaspoon cinnamon
• ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
• ¼ teaspoon cloves
Drop spoonful on a greased cookie sheet. You can sugar the top if preferred.

Mint Surprise Cookies
Mint Surprise Cookies
Bake at 375 for 10 – 12 minutes
Makes 5 dozen
Sift
• 3 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon soda
• ½ teaspoon salt
Add
• 2 eggs
• 1 tablespoon water
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
Cream
• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup sugar
• ½ cup brown sugar
Roll into balls, push the chocolate mint into the center, rolling dough around it. When cookie is still warm you can place a walnut or sprinkles on top for a great finished look.
This cookie was most peoples favorite and I have never been to another house that made them. I sure there are people that have made them though. Try out this receipe and let me know what you think.

Yorkshire Pudding Recipe
Where it is taking me awhile to accomplish my goals, I thought I would add a recipe for Yorkshire Pudding. It is like a bread that is taste very good with roast beef and gravy. My mother made this often and I just love it.
Yorkshire Pudding (9x11) pan
2 eggs
1 cup flour
1 cup milk
1/2 cup oil
Put pan in oven at 350 degrees with a 1/2 cup oil, keep this in the oven until the oil gets very hot. After the oil is hot add the ingredients and cook until it rises and becomes golden brown.

GINGER SNAP COOKIES
Cream -
11/2 cups of shortening
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
add 1/2 cup molasses
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
add 1/2 cup molasses
Sift -
4 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons cloves
2 teaspoons ginger
4 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons cloves
2 teaspoons ginger
Roll one inch balls - Dip in sugar - place on cookie sheet 2 inches apart
Here is the first recipe that I wanted to share with you. This cookie is the best and my favorite, well, one of my favorites. Hope you enjoy!
