A majority of these recipes are for baked goods, several different cakes, cookies, pies, etc. I thought to myself what a shame it was that those recipes were just kind of thrown in a cupboard and not used that often.

You see, It is just my husband and me who are at home now. I have three girls and they are all grown up and moved out living their own lives. There just isn't enough opportunity to make a lot these delicious deserts that my mother handed down to me.

In today' world we are all taught to eat healthy but you know as well as I do, everyone loves desert! They smell great when you cook them and even more delicious when you put them in your mouth.

So anyway, my brain got the idea to make use of these recipes by sharing them with others. I'm so excited at the thought that sharing all those great recipes that my mom had will be used and enjoyed by so many others.

I will tell you that my mother put parties on for hundreds of people at one time because my parents belonged to so many clubs and back then home entertainment was a big thing. Lucky for us we had the house and yard that you could do that in.

People loved, and I mean loved, my mothers baking. No, they loved everything she cooked period. She was a fabulous cook! Even my friends couldn't wait to come to our house and eat the cookies that she always had freshly made.

So I will be sharing her tasty recipes with you from time to time so you to try them and see for yourself.
You're going to love them all, I promise!

Click Here For More Great Recipes

Recipes At Your Fingertips

<img style="float:left; Everyone loves ice cream. Here are some quotes I found that I would like to share with you on ice cream.

Always serve too much hot fudge sauce on hot fudge sundaes. It makes people overjoyed, and puts them in your debt. ~Judith Olney

Without ice cream, there would be darkness and chaos. ~Don Kardong

Stressed spelled backwards is desserts. Coincidence? I think not! ~Author Unknown

Ice cream is exquisite. What a pity it isn't illegal. ~Voltaire

Age does not diminish the extreme disappointment of having a scoop of ice cream fall from the cone. ~Jim Fiebig

Ice cream is happiness condensed. ~Jessi Lane Adams

My advice to you is not to inquire why or whither, but just enjoy your ice cream while it's on your plate.
